Benji's Broken Heart

I am a cute fella that was born with two congenital heart defects. They aren't as serious as alot of the congenital defects that can happen but they are serious enough. I am hoping that my journal will help bring attention to Congenital Heart Defects. I was born with CoArctation of the Aorta and a Bicuspid Aortic Valve. I also had a patent ductous arterious (PDA) which is what caused the doctor to be concerned. Since the CoA was repaired I have developed Aortic Stenosis above the valve.

New Pictures

So, our local Walmart is doing a cutest baby contest at their portrait studio. The winner gets a free 10x13 puzzle portrait. I decided to take Benji since the last pictures we had done was at 3 1/2 months. They came out incredibly cute!
