Chapter 5

The walk to the ballroom was quite uneventful but as the appeared near the entrance, Chenoa spotted Seiya walking towards her immediately, or was she. Sen'ou noticed the reluctance in Chenoa's step. "Are you ok?"

Chenoa stammered, "Yeah.. I just thought I saw somebody from the Moon Kingdom.." Her words trailed off as they proceeded to the entrance.

"Announcing King Sen'ou and Lady Chenoa"

The ballroom stopped and turned to the couple. Chenoa was even more reluctant to go into the room but now she had no choice. She had to. As they walked into the room Sen'ou greeted those he were suppose to and then Chenoa pulled him to the side.

"What was that about? And why are you King if everybody thought you were dead?" Chenoa said through gritted teeth.

"When I returned I reclaimed the throne. You are being chaperoned by me and are a Lady. Any other questions?" Sen'ou was being very proper, very reminiscent to Queen Serenity.

"No my Lord, I will mingle now if that is appropriate." Chenoa turned not waiting for a response and went to the patio doors that spilled into the magnificent gardens of Kamiyo. A tear fell down her cheek.

"Tears on such a lovely face aren't a good sign. What is wrong Lady Chenoa?" A kind soft voice said just in front of Chenoa.

Chenoa looked up and saw Queen Kakyuu. Immediately she went to bow. Kakyuu put her hand to her shoulder. "There is no need. You are here with the king. I should be bowing to you."

The two woman began to talk about the one thing they had in common, Kodia. Kakyuu being Sen'ou and Kodia sister had plenty to talk about and of course, Chenoa had plenty to talk about from the present times. As the two were enjoying their talk, there was an explosion and they both immediately transform to their senshi form.

Meanwhile Heion and Peace were announced at the entrance. "Announcing Her Highness Heion and Lord Peace."

Heion curtsied graciously and the entire ballroom applauded. She blushed slightly and Peace took her to the ballroom floor. As they did so she noticed her mother nearing the patio doors and, it looked like she was crying. Placing her hand on Peace's arm, "Peace, I need to check on mother."

As Heion walked towards her mother, Tranquility appeared. "Hello my future Queen. Where are we going in such a hurry?" Tranquility had a sneer on her face and a tone that Heion did not approve of.

Pushing the woman aside, "That is none of your business and Kamiyo has a ruler. You don't need me." Heion continued towards her mother when Seiya stepped infront of her.

"Heion, let her be. She is grieving. She misses her sister and your father." Seiya took Heion's hand. "Would you like to dance?"

Heion wanted to scream no but something, something made her nod and go with the woman. It's not as if anybody would say anything, Seiya reminded her much of Haruka. Wearing a black tuxedo and looking nice in it with a lavender boutiner. They looked like a couple.

After a couple dances, Heion almost forgot about her mother being upset. Well, almost. That was when she was abruptly reminded. A loud explosion and debris quickly reminded Heion. She ran to the patio where her mother was last.

There Heion saw her mother not in her gown, but in her fuku. Next to her was another senshi in red. Heion did not recognize her. Tranquility was on the opposite side of the patio as them in a battle stance with obvious injury. Seiya ran up right behind Heion with two others. Heion was slightly puzzled until they transformed. It was the Starlights, Maker, Fighter, and Healer.

Star Fighter stepped forward between the three taking not as to who was where. "What is going on here?"

Tranquility spat out, "That bitch thinks she is going to take the only living heir to the throne away from here."

Kakyuu stepped nearer, "Tranquility, stand down or be defeated. Is it not bad enough to be bitter because you are not the one the fates have chosen but to also reek havoc on these people after they have already gone through so much?"

Tranquility ignored Kakyuu and looked straight at Chenoa. "Are you so weak that you have to put the throne at risk? Begging Sen'ou to bring you in here and Kakyuu to be your body guard?"

Chenoa wasn't about to tolerate false accusations, but she knew she had to hold her tongue. Something deep inside her soul was trying to calm her anger, it felt warm and familiar but so distant. Bringing her hands together she formed her staff, it shined brillantly with the scythe on one end and the amythest orb on the other surrounded by silver filigree.

"We have a new toy do we?" Tranquility laughed and was about to attack when Heion ran between the women. Seiya tried to stop her but she pulled from her grasp.

"Stand Down!" Heion yelled.

"Your Highness remove yourself. I would hate to have to attack you." Tranquility looked at Heion still in an attack stance.

"Tranquility! You must stand down. You are out numbered and will be defeated." Kakyuu stated.

In anger Tranquility shot a blast that just grazed Heion's arm. That was when from nowhere Itazura appeared. He had grown a bit since the last time Heion saw him. He was now as large as a horse. With no questions or anything he attacked Tranquility.

"NO!! Not you!" Tranquility screamed.

Itazura made one last blow and Tranquility's body disappeared. He stood there and bowed to Heion. "I am sorry my Lady, she had to be stopped and I was the only one that could do it. For only a god can kill a god."
