Chapter 8

Chenoa savored the time she had spent with Kodia, and in the days to come she was able to see her sister as well. Although Sen'ou was still amazed at the warrior's power. She was sensing that things would be changing in the not too distant future.

Heion walked into the suite while Chenoa was thinking and interrupted her thoughts. "Mom, when are we going home?"

Chenoa looked to Heion somewhat surprised. "I am not sure, Heion. We have to be strong enough and both of us have to know what our destiny is."

"How can we ever know our destiny? Things change. How do we even know if the Moon Kingdom is still ruling? Or if they are even alive?"

"We know because that is thier destiny."

"Mom, don't you believe that there is something bigger than fighting evil? I mean why do we bother?"

Chenoa stared at Heion. She had never thought about it. "I don't know. I mean I am sure there is something bigger out there. I just never thought about it that way."

"Oh."

"Perhaps I could help in your train of thought Heion." The deep voice of the young girl's uncle was unmistakable. Sen'ou had come into the room without either of them hearing him.

Chenoa looked towards him. "How can you help? Are you going to tell us that there is an ultimate being that is essentially running an experiment to see what people will do when put in situations?"

Sen'ou chuckled at Chenoa. "You always are the synical one. Perhaps I should discuss this one with everybody together. How about we meet in the grand hall in 30 minutes. That will give time for the others to meet with us. While you are waiting, put on your fuku. After our discussion we are going to do some training. Think about your base powers too."

Sen'ou left the room as he sent out a message on the communicators for all the warriors to meet in the grand hall. (This included the starlights, Itazura, Kakyuu, Peace, himself, and Chenoa and Heion.)

Heion watches as Sen'ou leaves. "Base Powers?"

"The power of our soul. Mine is healing. All of my magical powers persay are of the healing or strengthening nature. On the good. On the bad, I can drain power or strength from an enemy."

"Then what is my base power, mother?"

"I would say, since you take after your father in the magical powers area, that it is mental. Your powers being mind-control, telekinesis, ESP, and such. Thankfully you take after me in your fighting skill." Chenoa laughed.

The two quickly changed into thier warrior fuku. It was almost as if they were twins in thier attire. Chenoa had decided to not be so flashing and just focus on her skill so that she could just kick butt, while Heion found that on occasion showing a little skin could be tasteful.

The two women stood beside each other as they reached the bottom of the stairs in the grand hall. They were the first to get there.

Chenoa's long royal purple hair stretched long past her waist. The white strands in the front framed her olive face perfectly. Her fuku was a light lavender haltertop and short-shorts. Both of her arm bands, one on each arm glowed with the radiant energy they posessed. She also had a platinum tiara with the same deep amethyst as the arm bands glowing. As the eye gently lowered on her, her thigh high boots, the same color as her fuku graced her athletic legs, all the way down to the 4 inch heel.

Heion, with her short lavender hair in a bob style that came to a point around her face to frame it's olive complection was the main diffenerce in the two women. Her fuku was a royal purple haltertop with short-shorts. She wore one arm band that was golden as the sun and matched her eyes perfectly. She wore no tiara, but there was an amethyst jewel on her forehead. And then, like her mother, she wore thigh high boots the same color of her fuku that graced he athletic legs, with 4inch heels.

"I guess we are early." Heion stated.

"Not necessarily." Taiki said as she walked up to the two Saturn Warriors. "Perhaps everybody else is just late?"

"Right."

"Why don't we go and site over there near the fireplace. Even with it warm and sunny it just feels right to sit there." Heion stated as she walked towards a plush chair near the stone fireplace.

As the three took thier seats, Seiya and Yaten come into the hall. "There you are! We thought we were suppose to meet at the training room."

Yaten looked at Seiya, "You really expect them to believe that?"

"Worth a shot."

"Please, don't waste our time with pathetic lies." Chenoa shot at Seiya.

Seiya hung her head. "That hurt." She mumbled.

Peace came rushing into the room. "Is Sen'ou here?"

"No." Chenoa read the younger man's demeanor. "What's wrong Peace?"

"There was a great disturbance just recorded on our sensors in the Sol System. It was a major power distruptance."

"SOL?!" Chenoa got up, trying to figure out what exactly she could do. She knew it either meant that her family and friends were in great danger or that they just defeated that Hebi character.

Peace saw the distress on the faces of the warriors in front of him. "Let's wait for Sen'ou. He knows what we can do."

"Exactly! If we aren't too late." Seiya spat out.

"Seiya! we are not too late. Serenity and the Moon Kingdom are fine." Kakyuu calmly stated as she entered the hall. "If Serenity was able to overcome Chaos than this Hebi character is nothing."

"That's right Seiya. And don't forget, you are the one that forced us to trust in her." Taiki said as Sen'ou entered the room.

"My sister is correct. The Moon Kingdom has defeated Hebi. However, that is not the end of the turmoil. There will be new enemies that they already have seen and some they have not. Chenoa, your brother is in danger."

The room fell quiet. Nobody dared say a word. The last time Chenoa heard anything about her brother it was the night Tranquility was killed, several months ago.

"Then I must return at once."

Heion looked at the Starlights and then her mother. She didn't know what to say. She wanted to go but she had grown to liking it here on Kamiyo. Things were nice and she had friends that liked her for her not for who she could be or was related to. She wasn't sure how things were gonna be once they returned home. And it wasn't like Itazura would be unnoticeable. He was as big as a horse in some fashion.
