Description

Nephrite is the quintessential hothead. He is extremely kind to everyone, but he gets worked up easily, which has a tendency to land him in trouble. He also knows how to hold a grudge. He is fiercely loyal to those he cares about, particularly to his family and closest friends. He never sees eye to eye with defeatist attitudes and prefers action over thought. His preferred weapon is the spear, although he would rather fight hand-to-hand.

History

In the Silver Millennium, Nephrite became romantically linked to Venus shortly after diplomacy talks began between Earth and the Silver Alliance. Unfortunately, neither of them had much interest in monogamy. Venus soon began seeing Lord Mysterio, otherwise known as Yahara, and Nephrite began a relationship with Lady Jupiter. When Nephrite found out about Venus’s transgression, he was furious and challenged Yahara to a duel. After thoroughly trouncing him, his shadow trapped Mysterio in a tapestry, where he would wait for two thousand years. Afterward, Nephrite continued his affair with Lady Jupiter, although he did not always treat her as she deserved. In the end, he aligned himself with the Dark Kingdom and was killed by her in the final battle.

Nephrite was reawakened to the dark side a third time by Togeno Hebi during Neo-Queen Serenity’s reign. He was eventually killed by Jupiter as Venus and the other three Shitennou looked on. Of Endymion’s four guardians, he was the only one that did not come back to the side of their King.

Due interference with the timeline, Nephrite has been brought back to 31st Century of the Moon Kingdom, though he is not aware of his past life. He is known by a different name and has a history all his own. After high school, Nephrite did not go to college and started a rock band on a whim. They had minor success as a local outfit, but when his father is injured and cannot provide for his family anymore, Nephrite applies and is accepted as one of the Palace Guards. He has advanced at what can only be described as a record-breaking rate.

There is great potential to a love triangle between Makoto, Shinozaki, and himself. That is, if Nephrite still feels the way he once did for Makoto.

Shadow: Nephrite can possess or attack people with his shadow. It does take quite a bit of concentration, so he cannot use it unless he is able to gain some distance and take control from afar.

Teleportation: Nephrite can teleport fairly long distances, but no longer than from Earth to the moon.
Cost= 3 Power Points

Spear: A nifty spear that Nephrite is skilled at using. (After all he is a Shitenou, even if only in spirit right now)
