A writing sample ... what's that?

Basically, a sample of your writing. (ooh ... that took a lot of thought... We're all geniuses here I tell ya). We want to see how well you write, your grammar, spelling, creativity... That sorta thing. It's as simple as that. And, when you send in your sample, make sure it is your best work. Catch all grammar and spelling mistakes. This is your chance to make a first impression, so make it a good one! ^.^

Do please use at minimum a spell checker. Admins and staff have huge pet peeves about spelling errors. Grammar is easier to look over if the spelling is dead on.
