Description

In two words, Jadeite can best be described as dark and serious. This is not to say he is as grave as Kunzite, but Jadeite is much more cynical than his comrades, and it shows. He is very blunt and always tells the truth when he is asked for it. He doesn’t believe in white lies. He also has a great capacity for cruelty and can be just as nasty or nastier than his enemies, particularly those who threaten Endymion, Zoisite, Nephrite, or Rei. He does not wield it about to those who don’t deserve it, like Serenity for example. He is also very clearheaded in times of crisis. His preferred method of combat is the short sword.

History

In the Silver Millennium, Jadeite became involved with Mars long before they both resided on the Moon. He was sent to the war-like planet on a diplomatic mission as Kunzite and Endymion both sensed that Mars might be one of the strongest opponents towards Earth entering the Silver Alliance. While there, Jadeite and Mars began a relationship that lasted beyond the point of his turning.

When he joined the Dark Kingdom and brought about the fall of the Silver Millennium, Jadeite struck Mars down. However, he remembered himself at the last moment and held her as she died in his arms. He then turned his wrath onto Metallia. Exposed as a traitor to the Dark Kingdom, Metallia killed him in an inferno. He’s been nervous around fire ever since.

In the 31st century, Jadeite was the first Shitennou to be tapped by Togeno Hebi against the Moon Kingdom. However, after becoming involved with Rei once again, Jadeite was soon brought back to Endymion’s side. Kunzite and Zoisite soon followed.

Jadeite did not take the loss of Nephrite well as the two of them were practically brothers. Jadeite also does not appreciate the growing distance between Endymion and the Shitennou and the toll it is taking on himself and his comrades. It’s only a matter of time before he turns his signature cruelty on Endymion, and there is no telling what will result from it.

Illusions: Jadeite can create illusions with more ease and less concentration than Mysterio. They are also of larger scale. But it takes more energy to create these illusions. He on occasion will disguise himself as Endymion.

Telekinesis: Jadeite can move large objects with his mind, but for some reason he cannot move people at all.
Cost= 3 Power Points

Portals: Jadeite can create portals that lead to planes that exist between dimensions (i.e. the Phantom Bus incident). If he dies or is injured in these, the area begins to collapse and is destroyed quickly.
Cost= 6 Power Points

Teleporting: Jadeite can teleport fairly long distances, but not too great without the aid of stable portals which he can create.
Cost= 3 Power Points

Short Sword: Rather skilled at it's use.
