Chapter 01

After a long and tiresome war with Togeno Hebi, the dark lord has at long last met his end. His death caused several members of the Council to go their separate ways, concentrating on their own projects. Haruka and Michiru ventured down to Earth to take part in a joint tour of concerts and racing in order to raise money for charity. Minako and Yahara left quietly, alerting only Makoto and Urami to this, in order to rebuild their own relationship as well as their own psyches. Urami and Joshua ventured down to Earth in order for Urami to research her father's life and the ancient religion behind her powers. Makoto left with Shinozaki, Setsuna, Luna, Artemis, and all of the Chibi Senshi for the Eilean Academie on Europa in order to train them to be better Senshi when they take over the positions their elders now hold.

As for those left on the Moon, they have remained equally busy. Endymion has been focusing primarily on rebuilding his relationships with his Guardians, Kunzite, Jadeite, and Zoicite. Things began uncomfortably, but they grow more acquainted with one another with each passing day. Hikari and Kunzite have been commuting between the Moon and Chiron, attempting to rebuild Hikari's home. Rei and Jadeite have been focusing on building their relationship and hoping to understand one another more. This left Ami and Zoicite to their own devices, and while they are not romantically involved at the moment, a friendship has sparked. Hotaru has been spending much of her time doing what she spent most of the war doing, taking care of other people and getting the new hospital up and running. However, she has also been developing a relationship with Tai, a doctor that she met while recovering from the war with Hebi. All of this has been going on in addition to the Council attempting to aid Neo Queen Serenity appease the rising rebellion. However things have been difficult with everyone so divided...

And so our story begins...

The Moon
Shortly after the departures of all of the Senshi, a Council meeting was held to try and determine what to do about the Rebellion as well as select a new, temporary leader as Setsuna and Makoto were no longer around and Minako was still away as well. As Minako's second in command to begin with, Rei was easily selected to head the Council until things settled down. Whether the job would be returned to Minako or if it would be given back to Setsuna and Makoto was not immediately determined. Especially considering that the Council was split as to whether or not Minako would even return.

As for the subject of the Revolution, it was suggested that perhaps they would agree to come to terms with the Council. However, as their location was not known, this seemed impossible... Until Hikari offered up the suggestion that she and Kunzite could periodically check up on them through the Viewing Pool on Chiron. While the idea seemed to be a good one, the king and queen never gave an answer to it, and neither Hikari nor Kunzite were comfortable with proceeding without the nod from the Monarchy. With little accomplished, Rei ended the meeting.

Soon after the meeting, Rei received a vision foretelling the emergence of the five leaders of the revolution, the creation of the Opposite Senshi, and the return of Chenoa, Heion, Itazura, Seiya, Yaten, Taiki, and Kakyuu. Not that she knew this of course. After consulting Hikari and Kodia, she conducted a fire reading in which she saw a purple eclipse as well as the four lights representing the Opposite Senshi. While everything was clearer, little more was gained from the venture save four words:

Oreanus, Poseidon, Hades, and Cronus.

It was quickly learned that Hotaru received a similar premonition, but she learned no more from it than Rei did. However, the eclipse that Rei foretold came to pass, and Hotaru immediately knew that it was the cause of the House of Saturn. She also knew that the only possible cause could be Heion and Chenoa returning at long last. Immediately afterwards, Heion (who had grown to look around the age of 16) and Itazura appeared, almost out of nowhere, and narrowly avoided being attacked by Saturn, Mars, Mercury, and Chiron. But when the dust settled, all that really mattered was that Father and Daughter had been reunited at long last...

And Mother was still missing.

However, the main concern quickly became Heion as the teleportation appeared to have taken much out of her. Itazura and Kodia quickly took her to the Medical Ward, leaving the other women to the search for Chenoa. Saturn knows that Chenoa is on Earth, but any connection that she felt for the woman was cut off when the eclipse ended.

There was more than one homecoming as a result of the eclipse however. When it began, Setsuna, who was currently residing on Europa at the Eilean Academie, knew that something was not right and immediately returned to the Moon. And it was a good thing seeing as the eclipse had also knocked out all communication and transportation between Europa and the Moon as well as Earth.

The five women quickly decided that it was necessary that they find Chenoa before they tell anyone else (especially Usagi) about her return. Ami and Hotaru ventured to the hospital to tie up some loose ends (Hotaru's mostly concerning Tai). Setsuna left to go contemplate things on her own, leaving Rei and Hikari to their own devices. It was then that they decided that they needed to find Zoicite, Kunzite, and Jadeite to help in the search. So before looking for Chenoa, they began looking for the Generals...

...and found Minako instead! She and Yahara had gone back to his dimension in order to recoup, and recoup they did. After highly intensive therapy as well as combative training, Minako became fairly close to the woman she had once been. Additionally, the two had reconciled, but decided to be in an open relationship until they were absolutely sure as to how they felt about each other. They would have been content to remain in his dimension for a longer period of time, but after learning of a prophecy that described how a violet eclipse could signify the possible downfall of Serenity's monarchy, they returned home. It didn't take very long for Rei and Hikari to happen upon Minako and give her a warm welcome.

They soon found the three men as well as Usagi, and discussing what Minako had been up to recently, Minako revealed the reason that she had returned so suddenly. The news, though she kept it vague, floored the others. Without giving any regard to the fact that she was still unsure of her standings with them and that she had been removed from her position as leader, she immediately began assigning them tasks. She requested any and all information on the Revolution and the five who led it, and in turn asked Jadeite, Zoicite, and Kunzite to try and formulate some rough idea of what they believed should be done in order to at the very least locate them. She also told Hikari and Rei to round up the others...

Minako had called a council meeting.

The Earth
Michiru and Haruka began their tour on Earth in Crystal Tokyo, hoping to raise funds for several shelters that they hoped to build in order to help the poverty situation. Michiru would hold violin concerts, and Haruka would be on a racing tour. They had arranged to be in the same cities at the same time. While attendance was high as always, they are aware that several members of the revolution have been sabotaging the events. Protestors were continually present, but the most noticeable occurrence was Haruka crashing during a race that happened when one of the cars deliberately slowed down. All the other events in Crystal Tokyo went off without a hitch, but the two decided that it was necessary to take extra precautions when they continued their tour in and around Neo-London.

Meanwhile, Urami and Joshua were living in Wiltshire, and when Michiru and Haruka came to town, they decided to pay the two a visit. Urami wanted to see Michiru's concert as well as consult her about several visions that she had received. Urami has been having vague dreams involving some sort of staff and a council that she knew was not the Senshi council. She could not say much more than that, other than the dreams left her feeling as if some sort of unrest was on the horizon. Michiru also reported that she had felt the sea's restlessness, but her dreams only contained a mysterious figure shrouded in smoke. In the end, all they were able to determine was that it might have something to do with the revolution.

Upon leaving the meeting, they discovered that the civil unrest was quickly escalating with a hateful message for Haruka and Michiru painted outside the restaurant. Urami quickly offered to let the two stay with her and Joshua, and they accepted (much to Joshua's chagrin as relations between Haruka and him had yet to improve). When the Senshi arrived at Urami and Joshua's cottage, they related their suspicions of sabotage. Haruka and Michiru both requested that Urami and Joshua keep an eye on things at the concert. After all, they could not be sure if the stage technicians checking things out were on their side or not.

As it turned out, the plan was a good one. Halfway through Michiru's concert, one of the light fixtures broke, threatening to crash to the stage. Luckily, Urami and Joshua were watching and Urami was able to keep the lights from falling until the concert's end. And while they had been watching it because some of the chains were old and rusted, it was one of the newer ones that broke. It was obvious that someone had sabotaged it, trying and failing to make it look like an accident.

This only served to remind them of the fact that things were a lot more dangerous than they appeared. With this enemy, they had little more than a name for the revolutionaries, but the extent of their threat and the method of operations was a mystery. Their visions of doom began to intensify as did their fear of the outcome. Especially with the fact that the Senshi were so scattered and that even if they could reach the others, Minako was nowhere to be found. Still, they knew that the Revolutionaries would have to be found. They agreed that Urami and Joshua would continue to accompany Haruka and Michiru throughout the tour, both to guard them and search for the leaders of the resistance.

But there was still unrest in the group. Haruka had out and out refused to get along with Joshua, and nothing seemed to be changing her opinion of it. Eventually, Joshua stopped even trying to extend the proverbial olive branch. The wind Senshi's dislike of him grew even more as she began to sense an ancient power returning... One she thought might be Chenoa, whose loyalties were questionable in her mind. And in that respect, so were Joshua's.

Then came the eclipse that Urami had foretold. They had no idea what it could mean, but Haruka's suspicions still leaned toward the return of Chenoa Dawn. While none of them could feel her presence in the city, they all quickly became convinced that it was Chenoa and that she had to be found quickly.

They were right. Chenoa Dawn had arrived on Earth, in Neo-Rome, the next stop on Michiru and Haruka's tour. She was found and brought to a shelter funded by none other than Draco Ar-Amach, one of the five principal leaders of the Revolution. However, this information was kept from Chenoa. Perhaps she would have been able to figure it out for herself, but when she awoke, she discovered that she had lost her powers. However, Draco still knew her true identity and offered up a proposition to her. He knew that she could sing and offered to let her give a concert with Michiru in order to raise funds for the people. She reluctantly agreed to join the concert, disguising herself as an unknown singer named Gypsy in order to keep her from being recognized. All the while, she was completely unaware of Draco's affiliations with the Revolution. In a press conference, she even gave an answer that made her look as if she was on the side of the revolution, all through Draco's influence. After the conference, she and Draco parted company on bad terms as she had not been expecting any political questions and argued with him over it. Afterwards, she ventured to the auditorium she would be performing in, the Illuminari Auditorium. However, when she bent down to inspect a white rose, she was pricked by a thorn and was rendered unconscious from some sort of magickal enchantment.

But Chenoa's return was not the only other thing that happened in Neo-Rome on the day of the eclipse. Akina Tochino, Kemuri Jigokuno, Keiken Itsumo, and Hakai Shogaino are all young women heavily involved in the Revolution against the monarchy. On the day in question, they were attending a political rally outside of the shelter. When the sudden eclipse came, all four of the girls disappeared into an unknown plane where they were each given henshin stick given to the Senshi. Though they were reluctant to take up the same mantle taken up by the women they hated, but they agreed to do so. Once they returned to the normal world, Akina foolishly tried out her powers, nearly toppling over a building and fully traumatizing her. Hakai immediately decided to hide out in a flat in the same neighborhood that Chenoa aka Gypsy was living in.

The leader of the revolution, Alemand Kione, was well aware of this thanks to Rom Duaidh's constant communication with the forces that gave four of the five leaders of the revolution their powers. The same forces that gave Akina, Kemuri, Keiken, and Hakai their own new identities. He went to find them, convincing them to return to their temporary secret headquarters so that all could be explained. Once there, they met Garrett Cleader, Lyda Ablach, and Rom Duaidh. Draco was still not there, presumably at the press conference or picking up Alaina as Alemand had instructed him to do so. Alemand had expected Rom to just rely messages back and forth the Dark Ones, as he called them, but Rom insisted that there were more issues at hand. Thus it became necessary for Strife and Turmoil, the forces behind their powers, to speak with all of them directly.

So, they all trouped down to a secret underground chasm where the Flame of the Revolution, their symbol, was kept. It was quickly decided to begin the meeting without Draco, trusting that he would arrive later. Once Rom placed his hand on it, the voices of Strife and Turmoil were able to relate directly to all of them at once. Their first job was to explain the tasks and purposes behind the four new allies. Akina would transform into Soldier Oreanus and wield the powers of stone against Sailor Uranus. Kemuri will fight against Sailor Neptune using the powers of fire and smoke. Keiken will be placed in direct combat against Sailor Pluto using the powers of light and eternity. And finally, Hakai will be their leader will using her powers of pain and life to destroy Sailor Saturn. They all know that the revolution could fail without the help of the new Opposite Senshi, it is up to them whether or not to fight for the revolution...
