Chapter 03

The Moon
Naturally, Setsuna and Hotaru agreed to travel to Neo-Rome to find Haruka and Michiru (and by extension Josh and Urami) while Kodia and Heion would try and locate Chenoa. All parties left as soon as they could, which brought the meeting to a close.

After the meeting, Kunzite, Hikari, Jadeite, and Rei filed out, attempting to live life as normally as the possibly could... When a servant informed them of a demonstration on the grounds. They immediately took off to assess the situation. They were greeted by various shouts of how they all wished for their downfall and so on. Things were slowly escalating into something beyond a mere demonstration, when Lady Serenity attempted to step up and calm the people. Just before she made it however, Rei stopped her for fear of her getting hurt. Just as Kunzite was relating a sentiment, a brick sailed into the shatter proof window, to which the grey general responded with orders to have her escorted away from the scene.

By this time, Zoicite had also arrived, but even with his added intellect, no one was coming up with anything to stop this. Just then, Hikari had a thought and she ran off... When she returned a few minutes later, she was the spitting image of the Queen. She addressed the people assembled, calming them as best as she could. In the course of the speech, she used an idea given to her by one of the guards: a suggestion box where they could let them know what was wrong with the kingdom. This satisfied them for the time being and left, never knowing that it had been Hikari all the time.

Once that was over, it was decided that someone had to tell Usagi and Minako what happened... Rei of course insisted on talking to Usagi, and poor Hikari got stuck with Minako... Who promptly made Kunzite go with her to avoid certain death. Before leaving, he told Jadeite and Zoicite to rid the area of any stragglers. As for the Princess (who of course had not left), Rei ended up dragging her to go see the Queen...

Hikari and Kunzite found Minako fairly quickly, as she was talking with Yahara not far from the Council Room. Hikari told Minako the news, getting ready to run... But Minako wasn't angry. She was secretly disappointed and a little hurt that she had been excluded, but she told herself she was being ridiculous as they'd obviously had the situation well in hand. Minako liked Hikari's plan very much, but added that she was probably going to end up being the one to run it.

Just then, a Press Room worker ran up to tell them of the events on Earth...

The Earth
Setsuna and Hotaru had arrived in Neo-Rome shortly, not wanting to waste any time. The moment they arrived, Setsuna called Haruka and got their exact location. When they arrived at the villa, they were quite surprised to find that Urami and Joshua were there with them... And both Haruka and Joshua were still alive and looking relatively unharmed.

The six of them sat down and began to discuss all of the recent events... Setsuna began with Minako's return, the communication outages, the prophecy, and other things... Urami was puzzled as to how Minako and Yahara had gotten their hands on an Illuminati document, but she put it out of mind for the time being. Instead, the two Outers went on to explain that they now knew the Illuminati were involved, and Urami was forced to show them the passages in the Tome concerning the blood vows and how her "betrayal" was the cause for all of this.

With all of this in mind, it was decided that the Queen must be informed... However, there was no way to get information to her and with transportation and communication between the planets still being iffy, there was nothing more they could do that day. So they decided that it was best if they headed to the concert... Joshua and Urami decided that it was best if they stay behind in case the Illuminati was an impending threat...

Meanwhile, back in the Revolutionaries' camp, Alemand had enlisted Hakai to follow Draco and Chenoa, or Gypsy, once they had left his apartment. All that Hakai managed to find out was that they were apparently in the middle of some kind of spat... And for whatever reason, it caused Draco to explain to her his reasons for joining the revolution. The only useful information she got was that Gypsy was not her real name... Sadly, she did not know what her real name was. Just then, a bunch of reporters swarmed them, under the mistaken impression that Gypsy and Draco were together, causing them to run for it. Hakai made chase, and then learned, once the duo had finally stopped near her flat, that Gypsy had powers of some kind. That came as quite a shock and left her with more questions than answers... She went back and reported to Alemand. She left his apartment and promptly ran into none other than Keiken. Thus the two went back to their flat...

At the same time, Rom was back at his apartment, scrounging up funds for the Revolution... Sadly, his idea of scrounging was embezzlement. In fact, Rom managed to hack into Minako's account, draining about $100,000 from her account. He covered all of his tracks, making sure to make it appear as if it had been taken out in several withdrawals over the weeks that Minako and Yahara had been away. He called Alemand to let him know, and then was promptly ordered to sleep by both him and Turmoil.

The Next Day
The girls woke up the next morning to find that Alemand had left them tickets to the Concert in order to keep an eye on Gypsy as well as Haruka and Michiru. They were also given orders not to do anything conspicuous... Never a good move. But regardless, the four left, glad to be doing something useful at last. However when they got there, they were surprised (Keiken and Hakai in particular) to find that Setsuna and Hotaru were there as well. This was going to make for a very interesting evening...

After awhile, Gypsy aka Chenoa ascended the stage and sang her first song. Then she paused to speak about how they all needed to come together to make things better for the common man. Unfortunately, that was enough to incite the crowd and make several speak out against the crown... And for her words to be misinterpreted time and again.

Including by a certain press agent on the moon who was already on her way to tell Minako this development.

The concert continued without incident for some time... Until Chenoa decided to bring Haruka and Michiru on stage to assist her with her last song. After a lot of convincing, and a kiss between the two unknown enemies, they agreed. Haruka very much wished that she hadn't when it turned out that the song was Search for Your Love originally by the Three Lights. But with that, Gypsy's portion of the concert was finished and she ventured backstage.

But in the meantime, Draco had realized that the Opposites were in attendance. Chalking it up to Alemand's idiocy, he went over to stop them from blowing themselves up or something. When they explained that his suspicions were correct, Draco remarked that it might have been a reward for Hakai after all the work she did the night before...

Which promptly made Hakai leave as quickly as she could. Somehow, she wound up in the backstage area and came upon Gypsy who, thinking she was alone, had let her guard down and had whispered about Heion and Kodia aloud. Unfortunately, Haruka had heard and she promptly called her on it. The two quickly began fighting, as always, and eventually Hakai decided that it was high time that she did something... When one of Uranus' attacks hit her. So she transformed and revealed herself to the two of them.

Faithfullove was less than pleased to learn that someone else was claiming to wield the power of Cronus. And when Saturn arrived, she was also not a happy camper. Though it didn't matter all that much when Cronus attacked Saturn and then fled...

The Moon
When this news reached Minako, Yahara, Kunzite, and Hikari, all that was known was that there was an explosion at Illuminari Auditorium. Still, they all immediately sprang into action. Well, except Yahara who was ordered off to bed... But Kunzite and Hikari ran off to tell the Queen of these developments while Minako headed off to the Press Room to get as many details as she possibly could and do some damage control.

Some time later, Yahara came in and informed Minako of their stolen money. The blonde... Could have taken it better. However, she decided to keep it under wraps for the time being and left Yahara to his own devices. She went to inform the Queen of all the details, including that several unknown Senshi were involved and that at least one of them had ties to the Revolution. She ran into Rei and Lady Serenity on the way, who had not seen the Queen. So, they arrived together to find Hikari and Kunzite already there with Usagi and Endymion.

Minako related her news first, to which Endymion responded with a plan which would involve one of them somehow befriending the unknown Senshi in real life or at least one of the Revolutionaries. Then they would get information out of them that way. Minako pulled him aside while Rei and Hikari were relating news of the demonstration and suggestion box to Usagi. She was not fond of the plan and told him as much... Attempting to be logical about the situation, a first for her. Much to her surprise, he agreed and even appeared guilty about thinking such a thing! Minako would have said something, but then came the time for Usagi to speak...

When she didn't, Minako tried to cheer her up or reassure her or... Something... But then came another interruption. Lady Serenity asked why she couldn't be the one to be a part of her father's plan? After all, she had already befriended Draco so it wouldn't be out of line for her to join them again. And she can take care of herself...

What could the group have to say to that?

The Earth
Back at the Villa, Urami and Joshua had decided to go for a walk. They wound up at the enchanted garden next to Illuminari Auditorium, and Urami didn't miss it. However, at that precise moment, Rom stumbled upon them. He would have left, but the Twins told him that he had to get closer to them. Of course, this alerted them to his presence immediately. Rom attempted to be innocent, but with the two Dark Ones telling him to be ready to attack if Urami was who they thought she was, it was a difficult task.

However, he seemed to have rattled them as well when Joshua revealed that they were aware that the area was magickal and that they had an interest in it. Naturally, that sent off sirens in Rom's mind. When he continued to question them, Urami stepped in, warning Rom about the enchanted roses and their connection with the Illuminati. And with that, the two left.

Meanwhile, Hakai had been rushed to a hospital after she had collapsed after the attack. Draco and the three remaining girls were still hanging around the Auditorium when Alemand arrived after hearing of the disturbance. They discussed what had happened and how it would not repeat itself, when suddenly, Alemand felt Avalon near by. He ran off and quickly found Rom, getting the details of the situation... And so he knew there was only one thing to do...

Call a meeting of the Illuminati.

And so he did. There, he discussed with the recent events, including the need to change the plans, the return of Pluto and Venus, and the unexpected appearance of Avalon. They agreed to meet again in three days time in order to come to a decision about what to do about Avalon.

Afterwards, Alemand headed to the training grounds, where he found that Hakai had returned, weak, but otherwise fine. When he asked them about their progress, Lyda, Garrett, and Rom got into a little tiff which ended with Rom running off. Naturally, Alemand followed him to his apartment... Where Rom explained that he was frustrated because he felt like they weren't getting anywhere... To which Alemand reminded him that the real plan had only just begun. This seemed to satisfy Rom and the two quickly ventured back to the Barbershop...

Where Lyda attempted to kill Rom for his derogatory comments toward Garrett. Of course, Garrett was more than willing to forgive, and eventually so was Lyda. Then the four of them began discussing the art of sabotage and different things they could do... Alemand's only stipulation was that there be an explosion. Rom wanted to be there to monitor his Watchers, but he knew that might not have been possible given that they could leave their newest recruits alone and they certainly couldn't take them away from the Outer Senshi. Once Lyda was satisfied that there wouldn't be many civilians involved, she went along with it... And it was at this point that Garrett stopped speaking to her.

After a few more minutes, they decided that it was time for them to go home... But Alemand asked Hakai to stay behind to talk for a few minutes about something that had been bothering him...

Meanwhile, the Senshi had all decided to go back to the Villa after Chenoa, Heion, and Kodia had a quick reunion. Urami and Joshua arrived soon after wards, and they all decided it was high time to catch up and relate the events of the night...

No rest for the righteous after all.
