Description

Kunzite is the oldest, not to mention the strongest of all of the generals. He is very reserved with his emotions. He feels things intensely, but he rarely if ever shares those feelings. It has often been joked (not in front of him) that Kunzite is truly what his name suggests, stone. His eyes are green, although when he was under the influence of the Dark Kingdom, they were grey. It has been suggested that this was because Kunzite was the hardest to turn. Kunzite is endlessly patient and rarely loses his temper, but when he does, run. He also has a bit of a destructive streak, blaming himself for things beyond his control. His preferred weapon is the broadsword.

History

During the first Silver Millennium, Kunzite was extremely close with and protective of Endymion. When the prince first suggested entering the Silver Alliance, Kunzite was hesitant due to the risks it pended, but after awhile, he agreed to accompany Endymion and the other Shitennou to the Moon. He was instantly attracted to Venus, but he had no interest in pursuing a relationship. When he did not fawn all over himself as other men did, Venus took offense and spent a great deal of time antagonizing him, becoming one of he few people to make Kunzite lose his temper more than once.

After the affairs with Nephrite and Yahara ended, Venus seemed to be too tired to put on her usual airs. This genuineness and the pain she was going through caused Kunzite to set aside his frustrations and become her friend. It quickly developed into what was arguably the deepest relationship between a Senshi and Shitennou, and so their fall was the hardest. In the end, they took each other’s lives.

In the 31st century, Kunzite was the last of the Shitennou activated. However, his reign was short-lived. After both Venus and Endymion failed to bring him back, it was Hikari, Soldier of Balance, who turned him back to the side of good. Kunzite then pledged himself to Endymion, although their friendship was never quite the same.

Now the Shitennou are more distant from the King than ever. Hikari has disappeared in hopes of discovering what could have happened to Minako and Chenoa, but she has not been heard from since. Kunzite is concerned about Endymion and secretly deeply affected by the loss of Minako, although he feels he has no right to be. Lately, he has been throwing himself into his work by overseeing training of the Palace Guards, including one particularly interesting new recruit.

Turning Back Attacks: Kunzite also has the ability to collect the energy from an attack, strengthen it, and launch it right back at the person or persons who launched it at him.
Cost= 2 Power Points for every 10 Damage of an attack turned back.

Minor Telekinesis: The power is not nearly as pronounced as Jadeite’s, but Kunzite can move and do damage to small objects to a certain extent.
Cost= 5 Power Points

Teleport: Like each of the other generals, Kunzite has the ability to teleport long distances.
Cost= 3 Power Points

Broadsword Remarkably skilled with this sword, he is known for being able to take down an enemy with just a swing of the magically charged sword.
