Chapter 16a: Seperation

Uranus, Venus, Chenoa, and Peace return to the palace meeting room. They are still somewhat confused over what had just happened to Motoki in the Senshi Council Chamber. They just stare at each other for a while. Chenoa walks over to Venus, gives her a hug then turns and walks out.

Uranus looks over to Venus. She’s a character eh? Venus looks back to Uranus looking a little embarrassed. Something like that I guess. I have a feeling we will end up relying on her, and her power. Although she is in a body of an 18 year old, she has wisdom beyond that.

Venus looks into space as she continues. The only thing that scares me is she is so in love with this Kodia. You know, it’s worse than when we were dealing with Usagi over Mamoru. At least with them we knew they were meant to be.

Uranus nods in understanding. That makes sense after all Queen Serenity raised the twins along with Princess Serenity. All Chenoa had known since her imprisonment was Peace, until she was set free. The two senshi become silent and lost in thought, and don’t notice when Europa enters the room.

Europa catching that last part of their conversation decides to speak. So, talking about that evil one huh? You know she will not bring us any good, her and her brother need to be destroyed. They will only bring evil down on our kingdom.

Uranus, and Venus turn, surprised to see Europa. What happened to you at the meeting? Where did you go? Uranus demands. Europa looks a little confused, I am not sure, all I know is that I passed out here, and awoke in the gardens.

Europa's previous words finally sink in with Venus. Don’t you think you are being a little melodramatic? Uranus chuckles but, thinks about what Europa has said, and then remembers what Chenoa had said in the meeting. Uranus begins to get an uneasy feeling about Europa.

Uranus regards this man and thinks. If it is true about Europa being the one that convinced everybody to vote against the twins, and then he disappeared.... right before Beryl, and Metallia struck.... that sure is fishy. Uranus gets up and walks out of the room.

Just as she enters the hall she hears Neptune chewing Chenoa out. Chenoa apparently wishes to hear no more and goes storming off to her room. Neptune just walks on by Uranus as if she didn’t even see her. Uranus decides not to follow Neptune due in part in the mood she seems to be in. Instead she decides to follow Chenoa to her room to see what is going on, but right before she opens the door she drops her transformation.

Haruka peers inside the cracked door. Chenoa? Are you okay? Chenoa looks up from her seated position on her bed and gives Haruka a look of despise and hatred. I know ya’ll don’t want me here and I know you are siding up with Europa again. Chenoa's words strike Uranus almost as a physical blow would, she is speechless. Chenoa stands, and continues her verbal assault. I will just leave now! how about that? I can’t stand you or your friend Neptune, she is always on my case so I will just leave!

Chenoa storms out of the room, down the hall, and out the Palace so quickly that Haruka is caught off guard, and does not have a chance to do or say anything. Peace silently walks up to Haruka from behind her, and almost scares her when he speaks. Please Haruka, walk with me. Haruka regains her composure, and decides to follow the white cat.

Europa sneaks behind Peace, and Uranus, and conceals himself from their view as the walk. He can tell that they are talking, but he can not make out the words from where he is hiding. Peace suddenly turns into Kodia, and takes Haruka's hand as the two disappear.

Enmity returns to the Castle of Ancients, and as he walks in has a look of disgust on his face. He watches Mysterio as he is attempting to train Ariel, and Taurus. satisfied that is proceeding, he continues on to his chambers, slamming the door behind him. As the door slams, Enmity feels a strange yet familiar presence.

A voice calls to him from the shadows. Brother.... Chenoa emerges from the shadows. She then surprises him when she kneels at his feet, and looks up at him. Forgive me. I was wrong. I can not help Queen Serenity. Will you allow me to join you? Enmity looks at his sister, and studies her searching for eyes to try to read her intentions.

He decides that he needs to be sure if she is sincere, or if this is another trick. He finally speaks. I tell you what dear sister, you get the Silver Imperium Crystal for me, and I will accept you with open arms. Chenoa smiles, then gets up, and looks at her brother. Is that all my Lord? Enmity only nods in reply. Then I will bring it to you shortly. Chenoa opens a portal, then disappears into it.

Enmity ponders on what has just happened for a few moments, then realizes that his sister needs watching. Malice! Where are you! Malice appears as if out of thin air. You called me Lord? Enmity looks at the red dragon. I take it you heard the exchange between my sister and I? Yes my Lord, every word. Enmity smiles realizing he does not have to explain in detail what he wants from the dragon. Follow my sister. Tell me what she does. She is on her way to the Crystal Palace. Malice bows her head. Yes! My Lord. Right away! The little dragon flies off with eagerness to do Enmity’s bidding.

Faithfullove arrives at the Crystal Palace, and enters Neo Queen Serenity’s Chambers. Chenoa looks around the room and sees the Silver Crystal on its stand. She looks to make sure the Queen is asleep, then proceeds to grab the crystal. As she does so, somebody grabs her arm. Chenoa looks, and sees the Queen has awakened, and is now holding her arm.
