Chapter 01: An Ancient Love

Three weeks passed from Heion's birth and the monumental battle with Void. Chenoa had regained all of her strength, but was worried that she had permanently lost her ability to transform. She was looking for Heion, and just as she found Kodia and asked him where their daughter was, the child reappeared.

Kodia and Chenoa were reminded of their childhoods on the Moon during the Silver Millennium, and spoke together of this for some time. Their conversation was interrupted, however, when little Heion decided race out of the Castle and heads off.

Chenoa was about to go after the girl, but Kodia stopped her, assuring her that the child would be okay.

He went on to speak of Chenoa's powers to transform and do battle as Eternal Warrior Faithfullove, reassuring that he was sure she would regain her abilities eventually. Chenoa continued to worry that an enemy would come and she'd be unable to protect Heion and he, but Kodia simply told her that he wouldn't allow anything to happen to their daughter, and that the rest of the senshi would also be there to protect them.

They went back and forth for a short while, and then Kodia said he had something for her and dropped down onto one knee of her, taking out a box. He opened it, revealing a ring set with a gorgeous amethyst.

"I have waited so long to say this to you, but now is the time. Chenoa, will you marry me?" he asked her.

"Oh Love... of course I will marry you," Chenoa said, embracing him and kissing him passionately. The door slammed suddenly, startling them both, "Oh. I'm sure it was just Heion." she said. Little did they know it was actually Haruka, seeking Chenoa out. Suddenly the excited and happy look on Chenoa's face turned to sadness, "I... Love... How are we going to get married? The Queen said she wouldn't allow us to in holding to the ancient law."

"I think she may have a change of heart my love," Kodia answered, beaming.

"Well aren't you going to put the ring on me?" Chenoa said after a moment, holding out her left hand.

"But of course, love," Kodia blushed as he completely forgot about the ring."

He placed the ring on Chenoa's finger and kissed her hand. Then standing helped her to her feet. Remarkably as Chenoa stood she felt an energy run through her. Looking to her arm band she saw her Amethyst crystal reform in it. Looking up to Kodia she saw him smile.

"Does this mean?...Will I be able to transform once again?"

"I don't know love. You can always try."

Placing her right hand over the arm band she closed her eyes and shouted, "Ultimate Power!!" and nothing happened. As Chenoa opened her eyes, tears welled up as she looked at Kodia. She said nothing and walked towards the door.

"In time love. It will come," Kodia reassured her once more.

"I have to go take care of our child. I suppose I am at a new stage in my life. Motherhood. I guess I can only be one or the other, Warrior or Mother," Chenoa said sadly. Trying to hold back he tears, she walked out of the room and went down the hall to look for Heion.

Chenoa walked around the Castle looking for Heion and then sat in the gardens since she knew Heion would be okay.

She sat and wondered how she could have lost her power. She had always been a warrior, she knew nothing else. Rising, she walked to a gazebo which was almost hidden from site due to all the roses growing on and around it. She smiled and admired the lovely shade of lavender roses that were growing up one side. Setsuna had done well in her recommendations for what to plant.

Chenoa's thoughts turn to the other senshi. All of their dreams have come true, they are all with the one they love. Except Minako, but it would only be a matter of time before she and Yahara were married. They were already engaged.

Chenoa suddenly felt a sense of grief as she thought of Minako, as if she could feel her pain.

'Oh, Minako! Yahara has left. But when did this happen and does everybody else know?' she thought.

Realizing what had just taken place, Chenoa rejoiced.

OH GODDESS!! Thank You. My telepathic abilities are returning. But they are not as strong as they once were...in time. In time they will return."

Chenoa sensed a presence just before a hand touched her shoulder. She jumped a little and turned to see that it was Setsuna, with Heion latched onto her leg. However, it seemed that Heion was not the reason Setsuna sought Chenoa out.

She told Chenoa that there was danger in the near future, and her help would be needed. Chenoa protested, reminding Setsuna that she had lost her powers. Setsuna replied that her powers were still there, within, and she would be able to summon them when they were needed. At this point Haruka came running up, Michiru not too far behind her.

"There you are! I was going to stop by earlier but thought you were... uh... busy..." she explained with a sweat drop.

Setsuna rose to leave and looked to Chenoa, grasping her left hand.

"This will be a blessed event. There will be no stopping you this time," she whispered, then returned to her normal voice, "Congratulations, Chenoa. Tell Kodia the same. I must go now though. Do you want to come with sweetie?" the last was directed at Heion. Setsuna then left the three Senshi there to talk, Heion in tow.
