Chapter 06: Caution: Whipped Cream

Shortly after Usagi and Minako left the Training Room, Angela showed up. She and Kayla began sparring a bit in a boxing match. Kayla sweep-kicked Angela off her feet and the girl protested, reminding Kayla that kicking is not allowed in boxing. They continued fighting for a bit, then began their cool-down exercises at Angela's suggestion.

After showering and donning new outfits, the two proceeded to wander about the Palace, exploring and trying to find something to keep them entertained. Ending up in the Palace kitchens, a whipped cream fight ensued when Kayla found some and, spraying a blob into her hand, smeared it on Angela. Kayla even ran out into the corridor and sprayed some up and down the floors.

Angela tried to stop her, saying the two cans of whipped cream would be missed and they would be prime suspects as they were covered in the stuff. She berated Kayla, telling her how childish it was to do such a thing. Kayla replied by telling her to loosen up and have a little fun. Angela tried to find a responsible adult to report the situation to, but Kayla convinced her not to and dragged her out to the gardens.

Even in the garden Angela objected, saying they should go clean up the mess and then tell someone so they could take responsibility for the mistake. She headed off once again to find one of the older senshi, but Kayla stopped her once more. Angela demanded to be given a good reason why she shouldn't. Even though Kayla couldn't give her one, she decided to give the girl a break and be irresponsible just that once.

She ran into the training room and after Saporia, who was just returning from her short outing, "Saporia, wait up a minute! Want to come with Kayla and I? We're headed to the gardens. I don't know what evil plans Kayla has but if she gets out of control I'll need some help. You know one to hold her and one to get help," she stood waiting for Saporia's answer, lifting a weight and tossing it back and forth between her hands, "Come on after all she is your niece."

Back in the Palace Kitchen, Makoto hummed to herself as she walked into the kitchen getting ready to make a cherry pie for all of her friends. She was so deep in thought she didn't notice the whipped cream all over the kitchen until she slipped in some and let out a little yell as fell flat on her back, hitting her head very hard on the floor and falling unconscious.

The three in the Training Room heard Makoto yell, and Angela immediately scolded Kayla, saying she should have listened and gone back to the kitchens to clean up.

"Uh-oh... Well, they should of watched where they where going!" Kayla replied indignantly, much to Angela's disgust.

Angela quickly ran to investigate. She was mortified that it was Makoto of all people who fell. However, she also knew that this meant Kayla would be in more trouble than ever.

"Lookie, lookie, Kayla. It's your mommy," Angela knelt beside Makoto on the floor, "She's just unconscious. I'm going to get help," before Kayla can protest, she is on her way to find someone...
