Chapter 11: Drama at Alcatraz

Three weeks have passed on Alcatraz. Lady Serenity has discovered what happened while she was Wicked Lady and is having a hard time coming to grips with her actions. Even though she had been possessed by Void, she felt as guilty as she had ever felt about killing Lord Enmity, the man she had thought she loved... She had strived to discover her forgotten past as an evil entity, and now that she had at last remembered it had completely eaten away at her sanity... Without friends or family around to comfort her, she had let it completely corrode her... And now she was unpredictable, unstable, and, worst of all, powerful.

Suddenly the sound of a shuttle drew near, and saw it was a shuttle from the Moon that was landing in front of the former prison. She narrowed her eyes, thinking that whoever it is will regret disturbing her here... She quickly becomes invisible and begins sneaking out to the shuttle...

Meanwhile, Sailor Mercury, Mars, and Uranus were exiting the shuttle. Mercury was typing away at her computer, trying to scan the grounds for energy... meanwhile Mars was also doing her own energy scan, casting out her senses, trying to determine who was there and who wasn't. Mars had a feeling that Samantha and Sarah were no longer there, and had said as much, but had agreed to search the area just in case. Finally, both Mercury and Mars realized that Chibi Usa, or Lady Serenity's energy, was very strong... But neither one of them could come up with a good reason as to why she was there.

Little did the three Senshi know that they were being watched... Sera and Morgana had arrived at Alcatraz shortly after the shuttle had landed and they were watching the scene with acute interest...

Or at least they tried to. Morgana was feeling rather weak because she hadn't had any energy for some time... She wasn't too good at hiding this and Sera immediately picked up on it. She told Morgana to drain one of the senshi, motioning to Mercury. Morgana gave her a scandalized look and cried, "But Circe said just to track them!"

Sera rolled her eyes, expressing her opinion on anything that Circe had to say, "Do you honestly think I would have listened to that twit?! Please... I was gonna blast these weaklings out of the galaxy the second I got the chance... Now do it! I'll stay here and watch your back,"

"Sera..." Morgana said softly, obviously unsure as to whether or not this was a good idea.

Sera noticed that Morgana wasn't going to listen to her if she continued to be so harsh on her. She sighed, a little annoyed with herself for being so short with Morgana and said, "I won't let anything happen to you Morgana... I promise... Now go!"

After much hesitation and internal struggle, Morgana decided it was better to be able to survive to hope to see the day when she could be human once more than die in this wretched shell. She leapt out from the bushes, grabbing Mercury and taking only the energy she needed. Sera soon followed, watching the others to make sure they didn't interfere. Morgana quickly released Mercury, which made Mars and Uranus quiet down... The readied themselves to spring on her should Morgana attack her any further. But all Morgana did was bend down and whisper, "I'm sorry..."

After Mercury went down, Uranus couldn't take it. She drew her space sword from the air and took off after Sera, chasing the woman through the underbrush that had grown on Alcatraz. Uranus, who was a great deal faster than Sera, tracked her down easily and swiftly knocked it to the ground. Uranus pointed the tip of her sword at Uranus' neck and growled menacingly, "I know you have Samantha. You've got a choice. You show me where she and her friend are and I let you live. If not, well, let's just say that I'm not too sentimental about long, painful deaths filled with blood and screaming wimps. How about it?" Sera did not respond, merely gulping, worried about her predicament. Uranus did not take well to silence and shouted, "I WANT AN ANSWER NOW!!"

Sera then got an idea and hissed at Uranus darkly, saying, "I take it you're one of those brats' mother then... Well, I'm not about to show you where she is..." Sera laughed darkly, "At least not of your own power..."

Uranus narrowed her eyes and growled, "What are you gonna do? Kidnap me like you did my daughter?"

Sera cackled quietly, "In a way... Let's just say this..." the eyes of Sera's host body glowed red and her voice became much more guttural than before, "I'm more like my master than you think," that statement had taken Uranus off guard and she quickly entered the senshi's body, leaving her former host lying on the ground.

Sera then ran out to where she had left the other senshi, who had been standing around, lost in their own confusion. Sera cleared her throat, taking on the voice of her host and shouted, "Whoever she is, she sure is fast... She out ran me! I lost her a few minutes ago,"

Mars whirled around, eyes narrowed, scanning who she thought to be Uranus with suspicion... No one could outrun Uranus, and something else seemed off... This made Sera even more uncomfortable, wondering what this woman in the red fuku she had nicknamed "The Banshee" was up to...

What no one quite realized yet, is that lady Serenity was watching them just as closely as Morgana and Sera had been... And that she had seen Sera take control of Uranus' body. She wasn't about to let anyone spoil her fun and cried, "Celestial Divine Redemption!!" expelling Sera out of the wind Senshi's body, but causing damage only to Uranus. Then she allowed herself to become visible to Mars and Mercury, curtsied, and stole away from the scene in their shuttle...

And when Mars and Mercury turned around to see Morgana, she was gone... Now none of their enemies was known to them and they had no way of getting home...
